Intro / Personal Note
I’ll be honest: the hardest part of these weekly updates is hitting “send.” Back in corporate life, no one really asked me for updates or gave much direction about what they wanted. But when they did get one, the response was unpredictable. Sometimes it was good, even thankful — and after years in IT service, that was what you hoped for: the occasional “atta boy.” Other times, the reaction was more critical, or they’d panic if something caught them by surprise.
Now and then, it was even stranger — something they were upset about was already in the update, they just hadn’t read it. Some weeks rolled by fine, others were frustrating, and a few were just too much.
Eventually, I let everyone know these updates were really for me. This was my way of tracking what I was doing, what I was working on, and how projects were moving. If they chose to read them, fine. If not, also fine. That shift made all the difference.
Now, these updates serve the same purpose — they’re mine. They’re my record of progress, a way to track momentum, and a reminder to myself to keep busy by following the plan. If you find something useful or inspiring here, that’s the bonus.
Main Update / Essay
- New Word Search Finished
I wrapped up the Chemistry & Elements Word Search this week. Another puzzle book was added to the catalog, keeping the series diverse and giving readers more variety. - Tome of Tables Vol. 2 (Kindle Version)
Work has started on the second volume of Tome of Tables for Kindle. Building on the success of Volume 1, the goal is to keep the momentum and roll the series forward in digital form. - Looking Ahead: Volume 3
With 2/3 of the month still left, I’m aiming to get Tome of Tables Vol. 3 out in paperback before the month closes — and hopefully release the Kindle version soon after. - The Ongoing Grind
Reviews, ad testing, and graphics are still part of the daily rhythm. It’s routine work, but it’s also the backbone of growth. Piece by piece, it’s how the catalog gets stronger.

Closing Note
The pattern continues this week: finish one book, move on to the next, keep the catalog growing. These substack updates are my way of keeping the big picture in focus — not to please anyone else, but to stay accountable to myself. Hopefully, you get something from them, too.
