It’s been a few weeks since my last update, but for good reason.
Most of that time has been spent deep in development — not just writing new content, but building the system behind future books.
What started as refining the GM’s Tome of Adventure Hooks series turned into a full-on workflow project. I’ve been mapping out how the next round of books will work — combining print editions, interactive PDFs, and Kindle versions — all tied together by a consistent structure that makes them easier to expand and improve.
Along the way, I managed to release Tome of Tables Vol. 3 in paperback, with other versions on the way, which is slowly picking up reviews and a bit of traction. It’s part of the plan to get all these volumes visible, organized, and discoverable across platforms.
The big picture here is about creating a repeatable system — one that can handle seven volumes plus a combined edition, complete with extras like bonus hooks, GM tips, and who knows what else. Once that foundation’s locked in, everything else becomes faster, cleaner, and (hopefully) easier to scale.
⚙️ Looking Ahead
Next up: I’m finishing the standardized workflow for the Adventure Hooks books and rolling that process into the Tome of Tables line. Once that’s tested, I can start applying the same logic to future projects — even beyond the RPG catalog.
💭 Reflection — The Slow Work of Fixing Mistakes
A lot of my time lately has been spent fixing mistakes — layout bugs, missing links, misaligned margins, tiny things that somehow consume entire days. It’s slow. It’s frustrating. And it always comes with that thought: I could’ve been so much further along if I hadn’t messed this up.
But that’s part of the grind. Every fix sharpens the process. Every stumble teaches you what not to repeat. It’s the unglamorous side of creative work — the part that doesn’t make flashy progress screenshots, but quietly builds something that lasts.
